I was at Maxwell Game preserve and came upon about a 4ft snake that looked just like the one in the picture. I really did think it was some type of rattle snake but it had not rattles????

I admit, the snake looks rather real... but look how the man is holding it, if that snake is 97 pounds, which they say it is on other websites, there is no way that guy could hold it that far off his body like that. He could probably barely hold it on his shoulder, but he is holding it with ease far off his body... There is NO WAY its REAL!

I can assure you. Kansas Dept. Wildlife and Parks would be the last to say such a thing if it were not true. I have spoken personally with an individual from KDWP who would be considered an authority on the subject about mountain lions in Kansas. He said off the record (of course) that there were rumors of them and that mountain lions could be just passing through even if the sightings were legitimate. This case actually helps substantiate some stories from very creditable folks in Medicine Lodge, to have seen Mountain Lions as in more than one.

I’ve tried to think it over and I guess this is just a rumor. I hate rumors that ruin private life so advise you not to believe it and leave your comments by yourself.
